The research groups at Yale study the relative power of classical and quantum computing devices. They are most interested in determining which computational problems can be solved much faster on a quantum computer than a classical one.
The present efforts are focused on quantum error correction, quantum computer cybersecurity, and new ways to reverse-engineer quantum computer architectures.
