Quantum Computer Science

Harvesting the complexity of quantum computing to better solve problems.

The research groups at Yale study the relative power of classical and quantum computing devices. They are most interested in determining which computational problems can be solved much faster on a quantum computer than a classical one, and the present efforts are focused on quantum error correction and the study of the Adiabatic Algorithm with in collaboration with Nick Read.
